Plan for tomorrow in sky slide-show of images using a carousel and using animations. Add sky image to background image of page. Looking through leaves at sky slideshow as an animation.
Added a direct link for users to personalize their own Google Calendars, so they don't have to go through many pages to get to this point.
Add calendar and weather.
Animated stars and text-bar to the Games page, to run vertically along the left-side of the page.
Check to make sure everything is working in the discussion forum.
Bunratty project as a featured place to visit, the website could host a featured place to visit every month. I created a website on Bunratty in Web Development in Semester 1, so I have all the programming code completed for this. I designed a layout for this and am working on adapting it to this current "Design Your Day Your Way" website.
Working on the dots and doodles page elements.
Made an animation for the "Health and IT" article.

Uploaded and edited new audio on Premiere Pro. Video audio shared to Drive.
Looking at hex colors to use I selected from hex code website: #002366 (royal blue), #87CEEB (light blue).
Websitetoolbox.com->restyled the discussion forum page with a sky-blue background image, legibility effect, changed to the lilac colour as it was. <h2>->24px, text transform: uppercase, color: #303030, font-weight: 600, margin-bottom: 30px.
Changed glyphicon and carousel indicators in the home page to dark-grey for emphasis and in keeping with the overall color scheme.
Fa fa icon for Instagram.
SEO considerations-> meta tag, keywords for heading brainstorming->
focus, time, society, organise, activity, thoughts, health, happiness, calendar, games, interactivity, mindfulness, scenes, art, discussion, forum.
Selecting primary and secondary keywords from this for jumbotron head word bars.

Started writing a story for Stars page about Mindfulness from the point of view of a conversation of a guru and a student of different generations.

Backed-up saving of the project so far to disc. Saved all code also to word documents formatted to no spaces.

Worked on video, exported at "HD 1080i 29.97" preset. Worked on an earth logo animation. Figured out code I will use for my story in the Stars page, offsets, transitions etc. Created 4 paragraphs.
Created GIF animation with transparent background, sized images in "Paint."
More quotes added to my website.
Thinking of using radio button modal design for articles I sourced a few weeks ago.
Designed articles with column-count, length, width and fill and transparent images.
New animation created: sized 1 image first to fit the area I wanted to add to, and subsequently the following images then, speed 1400 milliseconds, 100%, 430 x 300px,repeat times (0) infinite, into local route folder and added to website using margins.
Added "Monthly Featured Activity, a Walk on the Beach." Subsequently changed to a walk by a river and added the video I made to this section.
Added a TED Talk.

Updated tutorial on making your own diary trackers and added into website.

Completed text-area of Games section.
Completed organisation page.
LinkedIn's Slideshare.net for tutorial, embedded it as an iframe, online now.
Updated design of slideshow: rule of thirds, photos and images, typography, colors, for good UX/UI user experience.
Read report guidelines again to check all is covered.
Checked the functioning of Discussion Forum for its export of members data to either Excel/SQL. Did an export to Excel, all information transferred.
In "PHOTOS" app on my computer I found that there is a way of clipping still images from videos, very useful.
Deciding between using manual slider/fade in slider for images in organisation/inspirations page.

Rest of Week up to Demo:
The rest of the week, tweaking things and updating code and layouts on the website. Put website online to see how it looked, dialogue box appeared that the mp4 water scene video was too large to process.
I then compressed the video in Clipchamp.com. Its duration is 5:36 mins, resolution: 1920 x 1080, format: MP4, size from 259.17MB->464.17MB.
Worked on the final report and preparation for testing.
Carried out testing.
Wrote up final version on report.
Report bound and DVD ready for Demo.
Saved files to DVD. I found when I checked it that 2 pages were showing up with layouts out of synche. I found that I had designed them at 90% zoom. This does not show up in the memory stick only the DVD. Only small alterations to be done. 4 months of work and I'm happy with the website.
